As part of the info I found in an article about a 1994 lawsuit that Gerry's filed against AAi and Walmart, there were some interesting facts about Gerry's. The article says that

"Gerry's has been in business for 30 years and has produced more than 22 million pins it said.  It's product line consists of 180 pins (in 1994 - ed), so the Walmart suit involves the bulk of it's offerings."

"As far as Gerry's can determine, the alleged knock offs of its copyrighted designs are in widespread distribution at Walmart.." (related to the 1994 lawsuit)
